Carter Work Project 2008

In May of 2008, thousands of volunteers came to the Gulf Coast to build homes with partner families during the 2008 Carter Work Project. HFH Bay-Waveland participated in this historic week-long build, hosting 300 volunteers to build 10 homes in just seven days in Diamondhead, Mississippi. During the week, the former president and his wife visited the build to visit with homeowners and partner families.
